How Information is Gathered
1) Electronic Newsletter
When you choose to subscribe to the bi-weekly electronic newsletter we will have on file your email address.
Inspiration for Change accepts the following material to assist in creating the bi-weekly ezine:
inspirational quotes
inspirational poems
inspirational photos
inspirational paintings
The contributor will receive full credit on the site and on any other derivative works created by Inspiration for Change.
Please send submissions to contactus@inspirationforchange.com. Please indicate in the subject line the purpose of the email i.e. inspirational quotes submission.
2) Guest Comments
Guests are welcome to provide feedback and testimonials on the guest comments page. We collect your name and email address. Your email address will never be posted in this section, only your comments and your first name. Inspiration for Change has the right to review all comments and has the discretion not to post comments that are inappropriate or defamatory.
3) E-cards
If you choose to send a friend or family member an e-card
you will be required to provide us your email address.
4) Send to a Friend
When you choose to use, the “send to a friend” referral system to inform a friend of a particular page on the site, we will ask for your and your friend’s name and email address. Inspiration for Change will send the request to your friend and the information is only stored for this one time purpose.
5) Surveys
Periodically a subscriber to the electronic newsletter will be asked to participate in a survey to assist the operator in providing additional information, products and services the user is looking for. Surveys will also be used to gather feedback on customer service provided to the user
6) Article submissions
The operator of the site accepts articles for submission. The operator does have the right to reject or accept submissions. The article must fit with the content of Inspiration for Change.
7) Tell me A STORY submissions
The operator for the site collects personal stories of how you or someone you know made a difference in some ones life. A brief description or a link to a news article are acceptable. We have the right to reject or accept submissions to ensure suitability to the message of Inspiration for Change.
8) Acts of Kindness submissions
We do collect acts of kindness community tips and your favorite act of kindness for public display on the site.
9) Inspiring People Submissions
We collect submissions of stories of inspiring people along with electronic submissions of colour photos or videos. Inspiration for Change has the right to reject or accept submissions ensuring the content fits the message of Inspiration for Change.
Use of Information
Content sent or posted to the site will grant us the right to use, reproduce, create derivative works of, publicly display, digitally produce, offer for sale in any media, for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to you.
However, after posting of an article you will continue to retain your ownership rights to such content, and you continue to have the right to use your content in any way you choose. However, Inspiration for Change has no obligation to pay a fee to a visitor or subscriber in connection with Inspiration for Change.
Inspiration for Change may occasionally inform the database of visitors or users who supplied an email address or mailing address announcements of new products or changes in services supplied by Inspiration for Change.
Inspiration for Change will never rent, sell or trade your email or voluntary information provided, to any other organization.
